We have found that ground cocoa shell is an appealing product by sight and smell that encourages oxygen flow, moisture retention in the soil, and creates a natural deodorant during decomposition. This makes ground cocoa shell an outstanding ingredient for mulch and soil mixtures and excellent for crops such as mushrooms. Some say that Cocoa Shell is a good landscape product because termites cannot live in the cocoa shell.
