During 1979, James, Martha & Phil purchased a farm and built 2 poultry buildings and James M. Garber & Sons (JMG) was created. Over the years JMG saw many changes and variations of agriculture, including raising poultry, swine, steers & many types of crops including corn, soybeans, wheat, barley & tomatoes. JMG had crop storage and feed manufacturing facilities.

In early 2006 we made the difficult decision to stop farming and sell all our farm equipment. Today JMG continues to store grain and raise poultry for others.

Farming is still a part of who we are and why we do what we do. We are grateful to our parents and grand parents who have been farmers for many generations. Their work ethic and model of integrity is part of our core values.
